In part 3 of this blog series, we’ll learn how to build properties in bulk using the Migration Utility, and will create six application-specific properties in the Custom.DRM namespace. In the prior post, we learned how to manually manage Versions, Hierarchies, Nodes, and Properties. In this post, we’ll use the Migration Utility to load the properties needed to manage the attributes of an Essbase application. The Migration Utility can also be used to migrate an application from one environment to another, using XML as the data medium.
