Oracle EPM EAS RDBMS Tables

January 8th, 2014

Technology: Oracle EPM(Hyperion)

Topic: Oracle EPM Essbase Administration Service’s RDBMS tables not created after performing product’s database configuration task

When running the Database Configuration task for Essbase Administration Services (EAS), examine the database/schema for created objects.  Several tables(4) should be created in the EAS database/schema after its configuration completes.  If no tables exist, this is  a documented bug, for which EAS patch 14060299 should resolve. After applying the patch per its installation instructions, re-perform the EAS Database Configuration product task, and the required RDBMS tables should be created as expected.
